Today was Fiona’s first day on a 2-wheeler, forever done with the training wheels. We’ve been practicing on and off for 2 weeks now, but today the weather was perfect, she was ready, and everything just clicked. After about 20 minutes of me barely guiding her, she was taking off by herself down the sidewalk by herself, straight as an arrow. She rode to the park, she rode with me (first father/daughter bike ride!) around the block twice, and refused to get off of her bike to get ice cream for dessert (though eventually relented).
