for sale: Lotus MTB

This is a cool frame, but just doesn’t fit me well, so i’m moving it on. It’s a Lotus Pegasus probably mid-80s vintage. Tange Champion tubing, cool faux twin-plate fork, curved carrying bar at the top. The paint is pretty beat, and there was some surface rust on the chainstay which i cleaned up and primed, couldn’t find any cracks in the frame. I rode this just a few times, set up as a singlespeed, and it rides well.
The geometry is a little goofy, as it’s a 62cm ST with a 57cm TT (both C-C), so it’s tall but short. High BB, standover with 2.5″ tires is about 35″. Fun bike if it fits you.
Includes a smooth Tange headset and 126mm nutted bottom bracket (which i can remove if you don’t want it), and a nice 2-bolt Avocet seatpost. Asking $25, if no interest here i’ll be posting it on CL for $50.
